[02.11.2009] American attorneys Janet Klapstein and Paul Silver will be our guests at Lazarski University.
We invite all students and all who are interested to a very exciting lecture entitled “Criminal Law in the United States—Substance and Procedure”. All students will receive 2 ECTS and a Certificate.

It is a one-year program, taught in English, by well-known international attorneys focusing on the practical aspect. This is Joint Certificate program with the Center of International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria. The top students of the program are eligible for an internship at a participating law firm. [21.07.2009] Congratulations to the 2009 graduates of the International Legal Skills Program!
Faculty of Law congratulates the first class of the program at the Certificate Ceremony held on July 8, 2009. The students who successfully completed the program received a Joint Certificate with the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria. The international law firms of Salans and Miller Canfield value the practical skills our students have learned from international lawyers in English and have offered paid internships to our top graduates. We have taken our skills in mediation to a new level! The Mediation course of the International Legal Skills Program finished the semester with a Simulated Mediation in English. The students of the program were divided into 4 teams and participated in a Mediation involving a joint-venture between a Polish company and a Thai company. more...

The top 2 students of the International Legal Skills Program 2008/2009 will be eligible to participate in a summer internship at Salans or Miller Canfield in Warsaw. This is an exciting opportunity for the students to work in an international environment and to use their practical skills that they have learned through the program. [02.03.2009] 2009 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition
Iwona Wojtalik, Esq. from the International Programs at the Faculty of Law had the pleasure of participating as a Judge for the Polish National Rounds of the 2009 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. The case concerned the “Operation Provide Shelter” before the International Court of Justice. It was organized by the International Law Students Association. The winning team will represent Poland in Washington D.C.
